Before I shock you all into the reality that summer is fading and the autumn winds are near, I thought I would delight you with a favourite holiday in our home …National Toasted Marshmallow day (yes, that is right, there is a day dedicated to this favourite of campfire past-times), so you have plenty of warning to rush out and buy your supplies.

How can marshmallows be a staple in my diet and I not know about it's celebratory day??!! Just when you think you know your food :P The nerve..... ha :) I am so delighted to learn of such good fortune. I will notify my pantry right away that there WILL be a toast to these sweeties on Monday! My kids will be thrilled.
