Raised by her mother, Coryanne learned from an early age how often life’s most cherished moments are shared in the kitchen, and how important hard work and education are. Her childhood inspired her to travel the world and excel at university, by the time she was 30 Coryanne had 2 degrees and the benefit of living in South Africa, People’s Republic of China, Syria and England, and the pleasure of seeing over 88 cities in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
In between swimming with piranhas in the Amazon, learning to surf in South Africa, trekking on horses in Tibet and learning to haggle in the souks of Jordan, she earned a BA in Humanities with a Magna Cum Laude distinction, and a MPhil from King College London.
Coryanne spent her early career working as a management consultant in Europe before retiring her briefcase to become a full time mother and housewife in her 30s. She now resides in the United States with her endlessly supportive husband, their 3 children and one adorable miniature schnauzer.
Often described as having a contagious zest for life, Coryanne has a gregarious personality, a sentimental softness and a humility about her that puts everyone at ease. She has an unhealthily addiction to fountain Coke, a sailor’s sense of humor, a typical Type A personality that makes it nearly impossible for her to sit still, and is rarely seen without larger than life sunglasses or lipgloss on. She wears her heart on her sleeve, never apologise for who she is, and values her integrity above all other traits.
Coryanne’s mantra for a life well lived………
- Return to the kitchen, cooking brings families together and makes life delicious.
- Food is a gift, eat responsibly and take time to enjoy it.
- Domestication is an art, cultivate it.
- A clean home is good for the soul, everything is possible when your home is clean.
- Strive for perfection, but accept that it rarely happens.
- Life is a lesson, never stop learning.
- Culture seasons conversation, be a citizen of the world.
- True kindness is done when no one is around to witness it.
- Hard work never killed anyone.
- Respect your elders, empower your children and romance your spouse.
